PharmDr. Zuzana Baťová PhD. Secretary General of the Service Office and Director PharmDr. Zuzana Baťová PhD. is a graduate of the Faculty of Pharmacy of Comenius University in Bratislava. She graduated in 2000. After finishing her studies at the Faculty of Pharmacy, she completed a rigorous examination to acquire a title PharmDr. During her PhD. studies she attended several foreign stays at universities in Belgium and Canada. In 2004, she obtained a qualification in Pharmacy at the Slovak Medical University in Bratislava, in 2007 she obtained a PhD. degree in Pharmacology at the Comenius University in Bratislava. In 2003, she started working at the Comenius University in Bratislava as an assistant professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology. From 2004 until 2012 she worked as a responsible pharmacist in a public pharmacy in Trnava and later in Bratislava. Before entry to the office of an Executive Director and Head of Service Office, she worked for four years as a Head of Section of scientific and regulatory affairs of drugs registration at State Institute for Drug Control. PharmDr. Zuzana Baťová PhD. speaks fluent English. She is a member of a network of the Heads of Medicines Agencies (HMA). She also cooperates with authorities of the European Union on projects on medicines within EU Member States. Dr. Baťová has a rich publishing and lecturing activities at home and abroad. She is married and has one child. She was appointed to the post of a Executive Director and Head of Service Office by a minister of Health of the Slovak Republic JUDr. Ing. Tomáš Drucker on 7 September 2016.
